ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Inventory and Logistics Specialist I oversees the efficient storage, movement, and tracking of goods across our facility in coordination with our corporate inventory and logistics function. This role ensures that inventory levels are maintained appropriately, products are stored and shipped accurately, and logistics processes run smoothly.

Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs of the data center operations
  • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Use software and scanners to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met
  • And other duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control (Related Military experience would also be considered)
  • Forklift License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bitcoin mining farm experience is a plus+
  • Flexibility – Priorities are always adjusting given our fast-paced environment and we believe in a strong team environment, so lending a hand to others or supporting other roles on site when needed is a must
  • Problem Solver – you will troubleshoot a site that needs repairs and will need the ability to work with the team to resolve in the best way possible
  • Team Player – you will be working with people from different departments as well as team members within your own department
  • Patience – many of our vendors are from overseas and you will work through language, cultural, and time zone differences
  • Diligent – our company details with computers and therefore temperature are important in our facility. You will need to be patient to assist with heating/cooling issues that may arise
  • Tolerance to Harsh Conditions – our working environment is both indoors and outdoors and includes cold rooms with excess wind speed and hot rooms. You also don't mind getting dirty
  • Must pass a motor vehicle check
  • Must have own reliable transportation to get to and from the designated work site location
  • Ability to work as a member of a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performing team is paramount to this role – your success in this role will not just come from how hard you work as an individual, but how strong of a team you help create across the facility
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • You are intellectually curious and enjoy training others around you when you learn something new
  • Thrive in an environment that forces you to get your hands dirty while also spending time behind the computer documenting your findings and communicating effectively across written and verbal mediums
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion and can spend extended periods of time on your feet
  • Must live within a 1 hour commute from the designated work…
