Entrepreneur in Residence (Future CEO / Founder) - Calgary, AB
Future Sight is seeking an experienced and visionary entrepreneur to co‑found our next B2B SaaS startup. We are a venture studio that co‑creates world‑class software companies with values‑driven entrepreneurs from inception to exit, and we have a track record of bringing software to market at scale.
You will work closely with John Carbrey, a 4x entrepreneur who bootstrapped a venture from 0 to $100M in ARR, as well as with Joshua (CFO & strategic advisor), Kevin (product leader), Alan (early‑stage idea validation expert), and Prathna (early‑stage investor & capital strategy advisor).

- Deep knowledge of your domain, recognition of its challenges, and passion for solving them
- Daily active engagement with our team
- Early‑stage testing, validation, and refinement of business ideas to ensure product‑market fit
- Preparedness for multiple iterations—most ideas will be killed before we find the silver bullet
- Prototype creation to validate and sell potential solutions
- For validated opportunities: launch an initial product, achieve traction, and prepare for pre‑seed & seed fundraising
- Building a team, product, revenue model, business, and investor base
- Ownership of the P/L for the new entity
- Significant equity stake in the new business
- Full‑time, exclusive commitment to building and owning a new SaaS venture
- Ready to commit full‑time and exclusively to an entrepreneurial journey

- Relevant domain expertise or industry advantage and passion for solving domain challenges
- Previous experience co‑founding and leading an early‑stage company (product or B2B SaaS) or equivalent intrapreneurial experience
- Desire to be a venture‑backed co‑founder
- Generalist with solid skills in a key startup discipline (sales, tech, product, design, marketing, etc.)
- Experience pitching to investors and raising capital
