Governance Advisor

Position: Contract Governance Advisor
Contribute to governance excellence with Trans Mountain Corporation as a Governance & Implementation Advisor in Calgary on a full-time contract basis. Drive implementation of management systems and support compliance initiatives while engaging stakeholders effectively.

This role entails developing and maintaining essential governance frameworks across a significant pipeline system, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will leverage skills in risk management and stakeholder engagement to bridge gaps in governance and implementations. Key Responsibilities:

• Establish procedures and standards for governance

• Engage with stakeholders for continuous feedback

• Monitor user adoption and compliance across operations

• Identify gaps and recommend governance improvements

• Prepare for audits and ensure documented accountabilities

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Governance or a related field

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar capacity

• Knowledge of Canada’s regulatory environments

• Experience developing governance and accountability frameworks

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
