Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Asphalt Paving Superintendent based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The Asphalt Paving Superintendent will oversee daily paving operations, including managing crews, schedules, and equipment to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans, coordinating with project managers, monitoring work quality, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will foster strong teamwork and ensure efficient operations in various asphalt paving projects.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in asphalt paving, construction operations, and project management.
  • Skills in scheduling, team leadership, and resource allocation for optimal productivity.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance related to asphalt paving.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and environmental sustainability on job sites.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment within the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost management, and project documentation.
  • Previous experience in civil construction or a related field is highly beneficial.
