Concrete Labourer

IS2 Workforce Solutions is hiring motivated and reliable Concrete Labourers to support busy construction and concrete projects in and around Calgary.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, thrive in outdoor environments, and want to grow their experience in the construction industry.

Job Types: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: Starting from $20/hr final pay based on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri | 7:00-5:00pm

• Weekends and evenings as required
• Overtime Eligible

What You’ll Do:

1. Assisting with concrete pours, finishing, and site preparation

2. Loading and unloading construction materials and tools

3. Shoveling, raking, and spreading concrete and aggregates

4. Setting up and removing forms, barriers, and site materials

5. Operating basic hand and power tools safely

6. Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment

7. Supporting skilled tradespeople and site supervisors as needed

8. Following all company and site safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

1. Previous construction or concrete labour experience is considered an asset

2. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

3. Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials repeatedly

4. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

5. Reliable transportation to and from work sites

6. CSA-approved steel toe boots required

7. Ability to work well independently and within a team

8. Strong commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Experience

1. Parkade restoration

2. Structural concrete repair

3. Building envelope restoration

4. Commercial or industrial construction projects

5. Experience working in occupied buildings and active construction environments

Special Conditions Of Employment:

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have your own transportation
• Must be able to work long hours and occasional weekends
• Must have CSA-approved safety boots
• Must be Health & Safety conscious
