Position: Valard Construction Safety Program Coordinator
Elevate safety practices with Valard Construction as a Safety Program Coordinator in Edmonton, Calgary, or Toronto, focusing on transmission line projects nationwide. Oversee safety initiatives and guide compliance with regulations.

In this integral office-based role, you will report directly to the Safety Lead and coordinate safety efforts across multiple transmission construction projects. Your strong project coordination abilities will help you develop Safety Management Plans and ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, enhancing operational success across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as primary safety contact for the transmission group

• Coordinate deployment of Safety Advisors to project sites

• Provide remote guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters

• Prepare monthly safety reports and management plans

• Review safety performance data and analyze incident trends

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety

• 3 years of experience in transmission line construction

• National Construction Safety Officer certification

• Understanding of Canadian OHS legislation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
