Position: Calgary Civil Construction Technician Role
Valard Construction seeks a Civil Construction Technician in Calgary to support civil infrastructure initiatives. Your hands-on skills in underground cable installation and equipment operation are crucial for the Calgary Green Line LRT project.

Reporting directly to the Foreman, you will engage in diverse responsibilities that enhance construction operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Support civil infrastructure activities on the project

• Effectively install underground cable and conduit

• Operate various equipment, including excavators

• Read and interpret construction drawings accurately

• Maintain site organization and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a construction team setting

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required

• Familiarity with operating mini excavators and backhoes

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors

• Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
