Senior Estimator

Taylor Ryan is seeking a senior estimator for three of our General Contractor clients. These companies have offices in Calgary and in Edmonton, so we welcome applications from either city. The successful candidate will have experience in the ICI space, ideally putting together estimates for projects valued over $25 million.

• Competitive salary, ranging from $125,000 - $160,000 + Bonu
• Be able to join a company with the potential to grow into a Preconstruction or Estimating Manage

• Estimating & Proposal Preparation – Prepare accurate estimates, quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and subcontractor/supplier pricing. Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure proposals are completed and submitted on tim
• Subcontractor & Supplier Management – Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and material supply quotes while maintaining strong industry relationships and an updated pricing databas
• Collaboration & Client Engagement – Participate in client meetings, project interviews, and team discussions. Work closely with engineers, architects, and owners to refine cost estimates and recommendation
• Training & Development – Mentor junior staff, assist in team training, maintain career progression, and update estimating software as neede

• 5+ years of Estimating Experience with in a General Contrac
• Experience working on bids for ICI projects valued at $25M or mo
• Experience mentoring and assisting junior estimators would be an as
