Motor Grader Operator Position

Become a Motor Grader Operator with Calgary Construction Operations for the 2026 season. This role focuses on fine grading and material handling in Calgary, Alberta.

In this position, you will be responsible for operating a motor grader safely and efficiently. Familiarity with grades, plans, and construction processes is crucial for success. The role may entail overtime, including nights and weekends, to meet project timelines and assist the base crew in delivering on critical construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a motor grader safely throughout operations

• Execute fine grade finishing for road projects

• Lay and mix construction materials accurately

• Complete assigned tasks from crew supervisors

• Ensure compliance with safety and operation protocols

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Top Con/Trimble GPS technology is a plus

• Strong understanding of road construction plans and grades

• Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license

• Reliable vehicle for transportation to the job site

• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
