Position: Civil Technician for Green Line Project
Valard Construction is hiring a Civil Construction Technician in Calgary, AB, for the Green Line LRT project. This role emphasizes underground cable work, equipment operation, and site collaboration.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who excels in hands-on tasks within a team-oriented setting. Your duties will include supporting civil infrastructure work and using various equipment safely. Strong communication and physical stamina will be key to your contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform civil infrastructure activities on-site

• Install and manage underground cable and conduits

• Operate mini excavators and directional drills

• Interpret construction drawings to complete tasks

• Participate in safety meetings and maintain job site cleanliness

Requirements:

• Background in construction teamwork

• Valid Class 5 driver's license is mandatory

• Experience with construction machinery operations

• Capability to lift heavy materials outdoors

• Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours
