Position Overview

Professional Excavators & Construction Inc. is seeking skilled Operators to operate various heavy construction equipment on diverse projects. Operators will be responsible for efficiently handling equipment to support earthworks, grading, excavation, and other construction activities while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, and grading machinery to complete construction tasks
  • Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and job specifications to carry out work accurately
  • Collaborate with supervisors and other crew members to maintain workflow and meet project deadlines
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
  • Assist with equipment transport, site cleanup, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment in a similar role
  • Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certifications/licenses
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for equipment operation
  • Ability to understand and follow construction plans and instructions
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various outdoor conditions
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel to various job sites as needed
