Position: Pipelayer for Road Construction

Aecon seeks Pipelayers for its 2026 Road Construction Underground Crew in Calgary, Alberta. As a key team member, you will connect sewer, watermain, and drain systems, aligning pipes precisely for various applications.

Your role involves working in trenches, ensuring ground preparation and collaborating efficiently with the crew to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and construct underground pipe systems

• Align pipes for welding, cementing, or gluing

• Prepare trenches for construction work

• Collaborate effectively with the construction crew

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience as a pipelayer in road construction

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly

• Excellent communication skills with team and public

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Willingness to work overtime when needed
