Position: Senior Highway Project Inspector Role
Join HDR as a Senior Construction Inspector for challenging highways projects in Calgary, Alberta. This role emphasizes compliance, detailed documentation, and effective communication.

The ideal candidate holds a post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering or has relevant construction experience and at least five years in roadway projects. Responsibilities include monitoring construction work, processing contractor payments, and complying with health and safety standards. Engage closely with the project manager and client representatives to resolve site-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor construction to meet contract specifications

• Maintain photographic records for contract activities

• Prepare and review contractor payment certificates

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Act as client site representative effectively

Requirements:

• High school diploma or 8 years of inspection experience

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience

• Strong MS Office skills for documentation

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Willing to work weekends and nights as necessary
