Construction Estimator Position

Position: Full-Time Construction Estimator Position
Step into a vital role as a Construction Estimator at BUILD IT By Design, located in Calgary or Mississauga. This full-time role emphasizes detailed estimates and collaborative project management.

The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and reviewing estimates for diverse construction projects, drawing upon at least 2 years of estimating experience.

Experience with Planswift and the ability to analyze construction specifications are critical. Strong verbal and written communication skills will be essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present detailed project estimates

• Collaborate with subcontractors for competitive pricing

• Analyze construction drawings and comment on designs

• Conduct on-site visits for project assessments

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and trades

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years estimating experience in construction

• Proficient in Planswift and Microsoft Office

• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods

• Ability to interpret and analyze plans accurately

• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
