Scott Builders Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project teams across a range of commercial construction projects and markets. This role provides coordination and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, including documentation, scheduling, cost control, and change management.

This position works closely with Project Managers and project teams to coordinate project documentation, support cost and schedule control, assist with change order administration, and help ensure manpower, materials, and equipment align with project requirements. The role requires strong organizational skills, construction knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

- Provide project coordination and administrative support to Project Managers and construction project teams
- Maintain ownership of project documentation, reporting, records, and communication tracking
- Support cost control, schedule control, and change order administration processes
- Assist with preparation and execution of project work plans, construction schedules, and coordination activities
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment needs, and project resources under the direction of the Project Manager
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and construction plans as required
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including team members, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Support adherence to construction safety practices, project procedures, and quality expectations
- Troubleshoot project-related issues and respond to changing project needs in a timely and professional manner
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a related role within commercial construction
- Experience working on multiple construction projects with multiple project teams
- Strong understanding of construction practices, safety practices, and project management processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and construction plans
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore construction project management software, and related tools
- Knowledge of building codes, municipal zoning and land use bylaws, permitting procedures, and applicable construction, safety, and employment regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing a high level of customer service
- Flexibility to work overtime as required and travel to project sites on occasion
