You'll be responsible for preparing labor and material estimates and conducting preliminary economic studies. This role requires expertise in CADD software and strong communication skills to liaise with contractors and architects. Experience in tracking expenditures and crafting bid documents is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Estimate project costs and monitor budgets
• Prepare economic feasibility reports for projects
• Consult with engineers on adjustments to cost estimates
• Maintain a directory of contractors and supplies
• Plan and monitor construction schedules
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of cost consulting experience
• Diploma in a related field
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Quick Books
• Willingness to cover relocation costs
• Permanent residency or valid work permit in Canada
