Position: Field-Based Trenchless Crossing Inspector
Join Blue Fox Engineering as a Trenchless Crossing Inspector for critical construction projects in Western Canada. This role requires extensive travel and technical expertise in HDD operations.

The contract position focuses on inspecting and supervising horizontal directional drilling projects while ensuring site safety and effective communication with the engineering team. Candidates should possess strong construction management skills and have significant experience in pipeline construction. Daily duties include monitoring construction progress, reporting issues, and liaising with clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and supervise HDD construction projects on-site

• Conduct field reconnaissance for pipeline route scouting

• Assist in pre-construction planning with engineers

• Manage safety protocols and daily reporting

• Solve construction issues for contractors on site

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of pipeline construction experience

• Proficiency in MS Office and communication skills

• Knowledge of CSA Z662 and Directive 50

• Must possess or rent a 4x4 vehicle

• Valid safety training certifications (e.g. H2S Alive, First Aid)
