Senior Estimator

Position: Senior Estimator at PTAG
Become a key player at PTAG in Calgary, AB as a Senior Estimator focused on complex Power Generation and Infrastructure projects. This full-time role invites your expertise in accurate cost estimation and project collaboration.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality cost estimates and validating them through detailed analyses. With a focus on teamwork, you will provide guidance to junior estimators and support project planning efforts. Your proficiency in tools like Eco Sys or Cleopatra will aid in establishing effective estimating methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate cost estimates across project phases

• Validate estimates through data-driven methodologies

• Collaborate with teams for improved project planning

• Provide mentorship to junior team members

• Uphold and improve PTAG’s estimating practices

Requirements:

• 8-12+ years in cost estimating for related sectors

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or similar

• Understanding of EPC project delivery methods

• Proven experience with estimating software

• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
