Enhance safety within our construction sites as a dedicated Safety Manager. Lead safety programs and cultivate a strong safety-first culture while ensuring compliance and securing the workplace.
We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager with a minimum of five years in health and safety, preferably in residential high-rise construction. This full-time role focuses on developing and maintaining safety policies. You will guide the workforce to adhere to safety standards, conduct safety audits, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders to foster a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety Program
• Promote and advise on safety-first culture across the organization
• Monitor and enhance safety performance of on-site workers
• Conduct investigations on injuries and accidents to identify causes
• Ensure thorough training on health and safety procedures for all employees
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in a health and safety role
• NCSO designation required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and standards
• Proficiency in record-keeping systems
