Junior Estimator - Excel Homes

Excel Homes is seeking a Junior Estimator to enhance our Estimating team. This role focuses on budgeting and maintaining model databases to contribute to our building excellence.

As a Junior Estimator, you will collaborate closely with the Estimating team to manage job-specific budgeting and ensure timely documentation for trade partners. Your responsibilities will include material take-offs, purchase order management, and variance analysis. Your keen attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in this high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare material take-offs and assist with model budgets

• Manage job release files and issue purchase orders

• Review budget variances and report to management

• Process variance purchase orders as necessary

• Distribute job documentation to trade partners timely

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma related to Estimating

• Strong understanding of construction documents

• Excellent communication skills

• Motivated self-starter with analytical skills

• 1+ years of experience in residential construction preferred
