Experienced Paver Operator at Volker Stevin

Become a key player at Volker Stevin as an Experienced Paver Operator. This role focuses on operating asphalt paving machines safely while maintaining high levels of craftsmanship and teamwork.

As a Paver Operator, you'll report directly to the Foreman and be responsible for the efficient operation of asphalt pavers on highways and streets. Your expertise in operating heavy machinery, conducting safety checks, and maintaining optimal working conditions will contribute significantly to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate paving machines to level hot mix asphalt

• Perform daily maintenance and inspections on equipment

• Regulate temperatures and control the paving screed

• Manage asphalt flow from dump trucks to the hopper

• Train new employees on safe equipment operation

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

• Minimum 3+ years as a Paving Operator

• At least 5 years in road construction

• Knowledge of materials and processes

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
