Position: Estimator for Transmission Projects at Aecon
Join Aecon Utilities as an Estimator for Transmission projects in Canada, taking charge of cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment. Collaborate with teams to ensure project profitability and accuracy in estimates.

Located in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, and Abbotsford, this role reports to the Estimating Manager and requires a candidate with strong estimating skills and experience in Transmission Hydro Infrastructure. You'll be responsible for preparing tender submissions and maintaining close client relationships, all while promoting equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project documents and specifications for pricing

• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings

• Collaborate with Operations and project staff

• Formulate comprehensive cost estimates for tenders

• Conduct bid hand-over meetings as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in relevant fields

• 5-10 years of estimating or operations experience

• Strong ability in reading construction documents

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other software

• Valid driver's license for travel as required
