Position: Experienced Senior Estimator for Civil Projects
Utilize your expertise at Whissell as a Senior Construction Estimator, specializing in civil infrastructure. You will be responsible for producing accurate estimates for underground projects.

As a crucial member of our Civil Construction team, your 10+ years of experience will drive competitiveness and accuracy in cost estimates. You will analyze project drawings, collaborate with subcontractors for bids, and manage the submission of proposal packages. This role requires astute attention to detail and strong leadership skills in project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate estimates for underground utility and civil work

• Assess and follow up on subcontractor bids and execution strategies

• Submit comprehensive proposal packages for tenders

• Update and maintain costing database and systems

• Lead tender review discussions on project execution

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in construction estimating

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and B2W software

• Proficient in reading architectural blueprints and specifications

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Preferred qualifications include P.Eng or CET
