Position: Equipment Operator for Civil Projects

In this position, you’ll perform essential tasks including daily inspections of equipment, excavation of trenches, and managing the safe deployment of various attachments. Your expertise in handling aggregates and understanding civil construction will contribute to the ongoing success of multiple projects. You will also participate in safety meetings and ensure compliance with safe operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily equipment inspections and necessary maintenance

• Excavate utility trenches and manage aggregate handling

• Switch attachments safely on machinery

• Ensure compliance with OH&S trenching procedures

• Assist in regular cleaning and lubrication of equipment

Requirements:

• At least 2000 hours of related equipment operation

• Familiarity with excavation and civil construction techniques

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to work on a team and uphold safety practices
