This role demands proficiency in estimating plumbing and hydronic systems, along with experience in managing multiple tenders. You will play a key role in overseeing the full estimating lifecycle, reviewing specifications, developing accurate budgets, and collaborating with subcontractors. Your proactive approach and ability to interpret detailed technical drawings will set our estimates apart in commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review project specifications and mechanical drawings
• Develop cost-effective take-offs and project estimates
• Gather pricing for necessary materials and equipment
• Conduct site visits for estimation and project reviews
• Prepare and manage change orders efficiently
Requirements:
• Licensed tradesperson or equivalent qualifications
• At least 4 years of estimating experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in reading technical specifications
• Knowledgeable in plumbing and boiler codes
