Position: Estimator for Lumber & Building Materials
Be part of Tech-Wood’s expanding team as a Lumber Take-Off Estimator. Showcase your skills in material estimation and contribute to high-quality construction projects in Calgary.

Reporting to the VP of Sales & Design, you will play a vital role in producing precise lumber takeoffs and cost estimates. You will assess blueprints and ensure compliance with local building codes, working closely with engineers and contractors. Your exceptional service and detail-oriented approach will enhance client engagement and success in projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and materials for accuracy

• Generate detailed takeoffs and estimates efficiently

• Maintain active communication with project teams

• Deliver quotes to customers in a timely manner

• Sustain positive relationships and teamwork

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in construction management preferred

• Work experience in the lumber or construction industry is valuable

• Knowledge of construction materials and processes

• Proficiency in software platforms necessary for estimating

• Ability to work within deadlines
