BAAC Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to participate in significant underground utility projects based out of Calgary. You will be crucial in a robust team installing essential civil infrastructure using advanced technology. Candidates should possess strong excavation knowledge and strive for high standards of safety and performance in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment for deep utility projects

• Install water mains, sewer systems, and telecom infrastructure

• Run excavators, dozers, and related machinery effectively

• Interpret construction plans for precision grading

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance

Requirements:

• 3+ years in heavy equipment operation

• Knowledge of excavation and trenching safety

• Skills in reading construction drawings

• Valid Class 5 driver's license, Class 1 or 3 is advantageous

• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
