Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator IV to lead and support project controls, cost management, scheduling, and change management activities for complex construction projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring project performance, cost certainty, and effective stakeholder communication, particularly within renewable energy and large-scale construction environments.
What's the Job?- Lead and coordinate the development of the Project Control Plan, including project estimates, control budgets, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred costs, and budgets; provide detailed variance analysis and explanations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project progress, changes, highlights, and issues.
- Communicate project status, execution challenges, and construction updates clearly with execution and construction teams.
- Proactively report cost status, identify risks, and communicate mitigation plans effectively.
- Develop and maintain realistic project schedules aligned with project objectives.
- Update schedules with actual progress, forecast remaining durations, manage milestones, and track completion dates.
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and ensure accurate CPI reporting and earned value curves.
- Implement change management processes, including initiating PCOs, trends, and AFE revisions.
- Support supplemental funding requests and related project documentation.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, construction, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction projects, including relevant solar or wind project experience.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Strong computer skills with experience using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
