Junior Estimator in Construction Management

As a Junior Estimator, you will report to the Director of Project Services and collaborate directly with the Lead Estimator and Senior Estimating Staff. Ideal candidates possess foundational knowledge in construction estimating principles and are eager to learn all aspects of the estimating process. This role involves hands-on exposure to estimating systems while assisting in preparing essential bid documentation like RFPs and RFQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing estimates and tenders under senior oversight

• Review specifications and drawings to assess work scope

• Prepare estimates for allocated scope sections

• Maintain organized files with pricing data for estimates

• Support subcontractor pricing acquisition as needed

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in construction management or related field

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience with Excel and MS Office programs

• Foundational understanding of estimating principles

• Willingness to learn from senior staff
