Entry-Level Estimator

Position: Entry-Level Estimator at Arctic Arrow
Kickstart your career as an Entry-Level Estimator with Arctic Arrow in Alberta or Abbotsford. This role focuses on developing essential estimating skills, including quantity takeoffs and pricing coordination.

In this Junior Estimator position, you will directly support the Lead Estimator while engaging in the development of cost estimates for proposals. You’ll learn the intricacies of the estimating process, from reviewing proposal specifications to preparing estimates for bidding. Candidates should have a willingness to absorb knowledge and support the estimating team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior estimators in preparing estimates

• Analyze specifications and drawings to determine work scope

• Compile estimates for designated project segments

• Manage organized records of supplier pricing

• Assist in gathering material and contractor pricing

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in construction management or similar

• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities

• Basic knowledge of construction estimating principles

• Readiness to learn from experienced team members
