Construction Foreman - Concrete High-Rise

Bucci Construction Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead concrete high‑rise work on our active Calgary projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives on complex, multi‑storey concrete builds and can drive quality and schedule on site.
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Superintendent, the Foreman will supervise crews, coordinate trades, and ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and to specification. You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of concrete forming and pouring operations across the structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct crews performing concrete high‑rise work, including formwork erection, stripping, and reshoring
- Interpret and work from construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
- Plan and sequence daily activities to meet project milestones
- Coordinate with subtrades, project management, and site staff
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with Alberta OH&S regulations
- Monitor quality, materials, and productivity; report progress to the Superintendent
- Troubleshoot field issues and maintain forward‑looking scheduling of pours and cycles
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a foreman or lead hand on concrete high‑rise projects
- Strong formwork expertise (fly forms, gang forms, column and wall systems an asset)
- Carpentry background with hands‑on forming experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Solid understanding of concrete cycle scheduling and crew management
- Knowledge of Alberta construction safety practices; valid safety certifications an asset
- Strong communication and leadership skills
