Become a Senior Cost Estimator with AECOM in Calgary, Alberta, offering a hybrid work model. This role involves developing cost estimates that drive successful mining and industrial project outcomes.
As part of AECOM’s Mining Team, you’ll create detailed estimates covering labor, materials, machinery, and risk factors relevant to the mining project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop estimates throughout the mining project lifecycle
• Conduct detailed cost analyses and benchmarking
• Lead workshops to reconcile estimates with project teams
• Prepare take-offs from mining and industrial designs
• Assess project risks and their potential impacts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 8+ years of cost estimating experience in related fields
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies
• Experienced in estimation tools and best practices
• Strong presentation and analytical skills
