Join us as an Estimating Student for PCL Construction Management Inc. in Calgary, Alberta , you’ll have the opportunity to lead innovative infrastructure projects that shape the future of your community. We are seeking Estimating students that are available for 4-16 months starting in January 2027.

Here’s how an Estimating Student for PCL Construction Management Inc. within Calgary contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
Understanding and utilizing PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms
Reviewing quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator
Performing assigned quantity survey
Giving quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
Transferring quantities to lead estimator
Bid document control
Performing bid day assignments
Visiting job sites periodically
Developing relationships with subcontractors
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Estimator
Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
The estimated salary range for this role isbased on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
