Construction Labourer Ceiling Finishes

Build construction-site experience supporting ceiling finish applications, material movement, and equipment preparation. Use communication, organization, and safety awareness while working onsite.

Empire Envelope is seeking a Ceiling Texture Labourer to work under experienced Technicians. You will help prepare work areas, protect adjacent surfaces, mix texture materials, and support Regular (Popcorn), Splatter, Knock-Down, and Level 5 finishes. Construction or related labour experience is considered an asset, but previous ceiling texture experience is unnecessary.

• Mask and protect adjacent surfaces before applications
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment
• Support ceiling texture application under Technician direction
• Complete vehicle inspections and report worksite concerns
• Follow hazard assessments, safety procedures, and PPE requirements

• Organized approach to managing multiple priorities
• Strong written, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic construction-site safety and equipment-use understanding preferred
• Ability to work overhead, from ladders, and approved platforms
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
