Overview
Stagecoach Theatre Arts, the world’s longest running and most successful performing arts program for children, is looking for a part-time Singing Teacher to join our Vivo Centre location in Calgary for our WINTER 2020 TERM beginning in January 2020.
Our aim at Stage Coach is to nurture and develop young potential and confidence through singing, acting and dance classes, stretching young imaginations and building confidence.
Responsibilities- Teach singing to students aged 6-15, including group/part singing, harmonizing, and musical theatre.
- Provide a positive and engaging classroom environment for young performers.
- Deliver lessons during the Sunday afternoon slot: 1:00pm–4:00pm, as scheduled.
- Experience in musical theatre and working with children aged 6-15.
- Strong singing fundamentals and a passion for sharing your craft with the next generation of performers.
- Comfortable in vocal music; teaching singing as described above (no required music reading).
All potential applicants must commit to a 10 week term running on Saturday afternoons.
