This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled web designer and developer to lead the complete redesign of an established event website currently built on Ghost CMS. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Ghost CMS, a portfolio demonstrating impactful web design, and the ability to translate brand inspiration into a cohesive digital presence. The project is time-sensitive and requires a freelancer based in Canada.

• Collaborate to define a new visual direction for the event website, drawing inspiration from leading industry examples.
• Design and develop a custom or adapted Ghost CMS theme that aligns with the agreed visual identity.
• Create or update branding elements, including a new logo if required.
• Implement responsive, user-friendly layouts optimized for both desktop and mobile.
• Ensure seamless integration of content and event-specific features within the Ghost CMS framework.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to guarantee a polished final product.
• Communicate progress and incorporate feedback efficiently throughout the project timeline.

• Demonstrated expertise in web design and development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Ghost CMS, including theme customization and implementation.
• Graphic design skills, with experience in logo creation and brand identity development.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design best practices.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with modern web design tools.

• Must be located in Canada and available for project-based work.
