Product Designer

Position: Contract Product Designer
Become a key player at Canadian Tire Corporation as a Product Designer in Calgary, AB on a full-time contract. Your expertise in apparel design will drive innovative collections for notable brands.

In this role, you will work closely with internal teams to create diverse apparel collections across Mark's, Sport Chek, and more. You will embrace mindsets such as Growth and AI First while researching trends and developing designs that are functional yet stylish. Your experience should help ensure products meet high-quality standards throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research fashion trends, materials, and techniques

• Create sketches, digital illustrations, and technical drawings

• Develop seasonal presentations and design direction

• Collaborate with technical design and product development

• Ensure adherence to sustainability principles in designs

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a clothing designer

• Post-secondary education in Fashion or Textile Design

• Strong skill in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Clo3D)

• Knowledge of garment construction and textiles

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
