Position: Applied Music Jazz Instructor Needed
Ambrose University invites passionate educators to apply for the Applied Music Instructor position focused on Jazz Percussion. Teach, mentor, and recruit aspiring musicians in Calgary, AB.

As an instructor within the Faculty of Arts and Science, you will provide private percussion lessons, evaluate student progress, and prepare them for performances. Additionally, establish pathways for new students to join music degree programs.

Your role will be vital in nurturing talent and ensuring student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct private lessons in jazz percussion weekly

• Assess and grade student performances

• Prepare students for seasonal Ambrose Arts events

• Enhance recruitment efforts for music degrees

• Collaborate successfully with the music faculty

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Music or relevant experience

• Demonstrated applied music teaching success

• Strong professional performance background

• Reside locally in Calgary, AB region

• Positive collaborator and colleague
