Position Summary

  • Pay Rate: $48.00/hour (T4 classification; INC classification considerations available)
  • Contract Length: 12 months (June 2026 – June 2027)
  • Hours:

    10–20 hours per week during summer and fall; increasing to 30 hours per week over winter, into April and May 2027.

Job Description

The Project Manager will drive the end‑to‑end production of our client’s primary annual corporate publications: the Annual Report (AR), the Sustainability Report (SR), and the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAIR) certification submission. This role combines creative agency traffic management and corporate affairs responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Content Coordination:
    Ensure raw content, financial data, and narrative inputs are delivered on schedule; act as central point of contact for content authors.
  • Editorial & Creative Workflow Management:
    Oversee the pipeline of contract graphic designers, copywriters, and technical editors to produce polished, publication‑ready assets.
  • Complex Asset Traffic Control:
    Maintain version control and proofing life‑cycle, including cross‑referencing footnotes, financial tables, and brand standards, through multiple review rounds.
  • Timeline & Dependency Tracking:
    Build and manage detailed production work‑back schedules aligning creative execution with regulatory compliance deadlines.
  • Vendor & Agency Liaison:
    Partner with external agencies and print production vendors to meet quality standards, budgetary guidelines, and production specifications.
Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years of project or traffic management experience, with 2–3+ years in complex or regulatory reporting.
  • Background in corporate communications, brand management, or creative agency traffic.
  • Proven management of full production life cycles for high‑stakes corporate assets (e.g., Annual Reports, Sustainability Reports).
  • Experience managing copywriters, graphic designers, and technical editors.
  • Strong interface with corporate executives, legal teams, and SMEs; demonstrated accountability and feedback loop management.
  • Expertise in traffic control, versioning, and meticulous proofing of complex documents.
  • Proficiency in building schedules that align creative timelines with regulatory filing dates.
  • Ability to manage fluctuating workloads across part‑time to full‑time cycles.
  • Familiarity with Asana, , Click Up, or Workfront for scheduling and traffic control.
  • Mastery of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for live data handling and cross‑referencing footnotes.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
  • Certifications:

    PMP®, CAPM®, Agile, Scrum (CSM), Kanban, or Change Management (e.g., Prosci) – preferred but not mandatory.
