Summer Communications Student at TAQA North

Experience the dynamic world of corporate communications with TAQA North as a Summer Communications Student. Engage in writing and photography while based in Calgary.

This role, starting May 2027, aims at students enrolled in journalism or communications programs. You will support internal communications efforts by crafting articles, conducting interviews, and taking photographs of company events. This hands-on position allows involvement in creative projects and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and draft employee stories and internal news

• Photograph company events and community outreach initiatives

• Audit and update intranet content for clarity and accuracy

• Organize communications files and materials systematically

• Contribute to internal campaigns and special events

Requirements:

• Must be studying journalism or a communications-related program

• Full-time availability during the summer work term in Calgary

• Required portfolio with writing and photo samples

• Holding a Class 5 Alberta driver's license is beneficial

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
