THE ROLE
The Service Administrator position is a fantastic starting opportunity within the automotive industry as it presents you with exposure to a variety of departments in the dealership. In addition, you will be provided with exposure to inventory and customer engagement.
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service by reviewing repair orders including all work performed and corresponding charges with each customer. In addition, answering questions or concerns that the customer may have.
- Coordinating with the service manager on completion of customer work orders.
- Arrange for the customer’s vehicle to be brought around and return the key to the customer.
- Responsible for coordinating transportation for customers to ensure a smooth pick up and drop off process.
- Responsible for obtaining the customer’s signature and collection of payment.
- Responsible for ensuring daily confirmation of service appointments. Ensure all warranties and recalls are noted and parts are tagged and ordered to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Prepare the daily cash sheet including review of all completed invoices and record of the method of payment. Print batch totals from the Moneris machines and ensure all totals balance.
- Assist the warranty administrator in reviewing and submitting warranty claims to ensure they meet the minimum standards.
- Ensures repair orders are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure extended warranties are input in dealership software including warranty details, expiry date and expiry mileage.
