Guest Services Representative – JLL
What this job involves:
The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for every shopping centre visitor. As the first point of contact, you represent JLL's commitment to excellence by delivering courteous, professional, and efficient service. Your direct contribution to customer satisfaction and retailer relations supports the centre's business objectives and strengthens its reputation in the community.
- Greet guests and respond to inquiries about the shopping centre's services, amenities, stores, and promotional activities
- Proactively create memorable customer interactions by providing personalized assistance and excellent service
- Promote and sell shopping centre gift cards
- Handle phone calls and provide accurate, courteous information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers by educating them about the centre's services
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, services, promotions, and special events to suggest stores or gifts based on shoppers' needs
- Participate in special projects and support the supervisor with administrative tasks (schedules, gift cards, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both French and English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Conflict resolution and management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and replacement shifts
- Multilingual skills beyond French and English
- Familiarity with the centre's Crisis Management Manual and understanding of Guest Services responsibilities
- Previous customer service experience in a retail environment
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service
- Friendly, approachable, proactive, and solution‑focused personality
