Member Experience Team

The Member Experience Team consists of collaborative professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent member experiences. The team supports daily banking needs, engages with members, and identifies referral opportunities for key stakeholders. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and strong organizational and time‑management skills to create a positive first impression and deliver exceptional service in every member interaction.

• Completes all member transactions including account openings, daily banking, and account maintenance accurately and efficiently.
• Participates in activities supporting the expansion of the member relationship by seeking opportunities to support sales and profitability goals, including cross‑selling and providing referrals for all BVCU products and services as well as third‑party providers.
• Recommends appropriate products and services to current and prospective members by identifying and analyzing their needs, explaining features and benefits, and completing documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains discretion and confidentiality to respect members’ privacy.

• Adheres to BVCU policies and procedures to ensure all daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks are completed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Processes all cash and non‑cash member transactions, including cash handling and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Supports overall branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining related records.
• Performs internal auditing.

• Actively participates in community events that are sponsored by BVCU.

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Superior customer service skills with previous sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good critical thinking, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills; keen attention to detail.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrates discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Good investigative skills for uncovering needs for members to support business growth.
• Committed to continuous learning and development.

• This position is on‑site.
• Working Hours:
  
  Monday – Friday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm.
• Must be bondable and have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full‑time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Total compensation includes vacation, RRSP program, and benefits, including a health/wellness spending account.
