In this part-time role, you'll collaborate closely with the Lead, Cafe Operations, and a dedicated team to create an engaging atmosphere at the Platform Innovation Centre. Your focus will be on welcoming visitors, advocating for the tech ecosystem, and providing exceptional hospitality while maintaining cafe operations. You will play a vital role in connecting guests with essential resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and engage visitors while providing way finding assistance
• Serve coffee and food while offering product knowledge
• Maintain a clean and organized cafe area
• Process transactions accurately through the POS system
• Support the training of new staff and operate collaboratively
Requirements:
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience in community-facing or customer service roles
• Strong organizational abilities for multitasking
• Valid Proserve certification is an asset
• Community-first mindset prioritizing connections
