Making an Impact

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Donor Care Representative who will act as an ambassador for all CCS supporters. You will be responsible for all inbound donor calls supporting the fundraising and stewardship programs, and will receive training and developmental opportunities to grow your career at Canada’s largest national cancer charity.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone
  • Support inbound inquiries related to processing donations, encouraging participation in CCS campaigns, and answering general account maintenance inquiries
  • Maximize event fundraising by supporting special event participants with the set-up of online profiles and the use of online fundraising tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly key performance targets including service level, revenue and call quality
  • Accurately process donations and update donor contact/donation information using internal CRM systems
  • Demonstrate passion for Canadian Cancer’s Society mission
Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Work in compliance with The Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations
  • Review and comply with the Health and Safety Policy
Working Conditions
  • Work closely with and interact with other teams, and have the ability to perform duties independently
  • Work under tight deadlines
  • Handle confidential issues and data
  • Involve significant computer and telephone use simultaneously
  • Require a high degree of concentration to ensure accuracy of data entry

  • Must be flexible to work full‑time hours on varied shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST.
  • Starting wage of $21.50 with competitive benefits.

Qualifications
  • Bilingualism (French/English) required
  • Completion of related post‑secondary education, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly developed customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills, demonstrating ability to answer telephone inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for a diverse working environment and ensuring donor satisfaction through first‑call resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate donor records and gifts
  • Experience with MS Office, Sales Force, Luminate Online, or other online fundraising software an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking team environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to work various shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays, as needed
