Location: Banff
Customer service expertise supports the Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation Centre in this Recreation Facility Staff position beginning January 2027. Pool operations and reception duties shape daily guest experiences.
Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity seeks experienced Recreation Facility Staff for customer service at reception and throughout the facility. The position combines membership records, bookings, merchandise sales, photo identification, and pool operations. Staff enforce policies, maintain records, and respond to water contamination issues when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers with a high level of service
- Process memberships, merchandise sales, and end-of-day cash outs
- Coordinate bookings and maintain data entry records
- Perform pool operations, water treatment, and chemical balancing
- Administer emergency first aid as required
- Certified Pool Operator Certificate or willingness to complete the course
- Current Standard First Aid, Level C CPR, AED, and oxygen qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma
- One to three years' experience in a similar role
- Basic computer skills and flexible weekend availability
