Banff Centre Usher

Represent Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity at performances as a Front of House Usher, welcoming patrons with professionalism and care. This Bow Valley role offers casual, on-call event work.

You will help maintain a polished experience in Banff Centre venues while following admittance policies, safety procedures, and dress requirements. The position includes ticket scanning, program distribution, seating assistance, accessible seating support, lost-article checks, and public feedback reporting. Most events occur Thursday through Saturday evenings.

• Follow Front of House admittance and access policies
• Distribute programs and guide patrons to seats
• Support patrons requiring accessible seating
• Check venues for lost articles after events
• Maintain uniform, timeliness, thoroughness, and professionalism

• Superior customer service skills and courteous communication
• Working knowledge of First Aid
• Understanding of Banff Centre emergency procedures
• Availability for late evening shifts after 11:30 pm
• Residence in the Bow Valley
