Overview
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) – Full-Time.
Location: Calgary, AB.
Work Setting: In-person (no remote work).

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with our practice.

- Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures and treatments.
- Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Prepare dental materials, including fillings, impression materials, and compounds.
- Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns; apply fluoride and dental sealants.
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts and assist with treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Record dental procedures performed accurately.
- Order dental and office supplies as needed.
- Remove sutures and take vital signs.
- Apply topical anesthetics, desensitizing, and anti-cariogenic agents.
- Perform coronal whitening.
- Fabricate, place, and remove temporary crowns and restorations.
- Apply and remove rubber dams.
- Conduct pulp vitality testing, periodontal screening, and charting.
- Certified Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) with current provincial licensing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with dental software is an asset.
