About Us:

Willow Smile Family Dental is a general dental practice located in southeast Calgary, just off of Macleod. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team part-time
. We are open to all levels of experience, and training will be provided on-site.

As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) at Willow Smile Family Dental, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive high-quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. You will work closely with our dental team, including dentists and hygienists, to deliver exceptional patient experiences and assist in various clinical and administrative tasks.

• Chairside Assistance:
  Assist our dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and more. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for procedures.
• Patient Care:
  Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about their procedures. Take and record medical and dental histories, as well as vital signs when necessary.
• X-rays and Impressions:
  Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and impressions for diagnostic purposes, following all safety protocols.
• Sterilization and Infection Control:
  Maintain strict infection control protocols, including the sterilization of instruments and disinfection of treatment areas.

  Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
• Administrative Support:
  Assist with front office tasks, as needed.

  Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and exceptional patient care.

• Active RDA License:
  Must be a Registered Dental Assistant
• Familiarity with a dental software -- (we use Cleardent)

• Capable of working 7–9-hour shifts
• Available 1-2 days a week
