About the job Registered Dental Assistant
We are currently seeking applicants for a Registered Dental Assistant position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dental office preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Proficiency in dental procedures, chair side assisting, and dental radiography techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact professionally with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and update patient records
- Assist with dental lab tasks, including pouring and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
